Our journey began with our founder Alex, whose life took an unexpected turn during a romantic honeymoon in the British countryside. Nestled within the walls of a quaint country house, the couple discovered a room that would change their lives forever. Inside that honeymoon suite stood a unique masterpiece—a stunning copper bath, a symbol of luxury and classic design.
This bath was more than a bathroom fixture; it was a retreat, a vessel of comfort that beckoned with its warmth and beauty. Every evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Alex and his wife would unwind in the splendor of that magnificent tub, relishing the romance and tranquility it offered.

But, as holidays do, this one also came to an end. Back in the midst of city life, amid its usual hustle and bustle, Alex couldn’t help but long for those moments of peace and luxury. The memories of that copper bath lingered like a whisper, urging him to relive the beauty and serenity of his honeymoon each day.
Determined to capture the essence of that special bath and bring it into his own home, Alex set out to find a copper bath of his own. Fueled by passion and a desire to share the magic of copper, the Copper Bath Company was born.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be opening a brand-new showroom in early 2027 (date to be confirmed) on Queens Road in Buckhurst Hill. This prime location offers excellent accessibility via the Central line as well as easy links from the M25, making it simple to visit us from across Essex and London.
